Who We Are
Founded in 1980 by Alex Tilley, an avid sailor who sought to make a “classy, durable hat” (and succeeded beyond his wildest expectations!) Tilley hand-make and sell the “World’s Best Hats”, as well as their accompanying range of lightweight, practical travel clothes – all made to the same high standards as the renowned Tilley hats.
